Ring ring ring ring ring ring ring, BANANA PHONE!

Hello again.  How have you, the Xanga reading masses, been faring lately?  I myself have been rather well.  I don't have much to talk about, actually, but you know? Why not?

Wolf Parade have created one of the best albums I've heard in a long time.  It is quite possibly the only album I have ever actually gotten excited over, and though my expectations were incredibly high, it managed to exceed them.

I have grown to not like downloading albums any more.  I'll download a song or two to see if I'll like an album, but if I download the whole album and end up really liking it, it just ruins the experience when I end up buying it.  For instance, three of my most listened to albums over the summer were Architecture in Helsinki's In Case We Die, Set Yourself on Fire by Stars, and LCD Soundsystem.  However, I spent all summer listening to the downloaded copies, and when I finally bought them, they were nothing special to me.  That is why I refrained from downloading Wolf Parade, and why I regret downloading Dangerdoom (but how could I have known it would be so good?!)  I usually don't mind download so-so albums, though.

6-Foot long Subway subs are perhaps the most beautiful things man has ever created.

One more thing, before I leave you all for more worthwhile endeavors:  On Monday night, us Elizabethans went down to Jackson's Mill to sing for some student council stuff.  Well,  I was driving Channell and Studley, and on the way there we passed this bar/restaurant type thing, and on the front porch this extremely obese woman was dancing.  Not meaning to be a prick, I probably haven't laughed that hard in a long time.  It's the stuff dreams are made of!

That'll do, blokes, so let's call it a night, shall we?

Holy smokes! Guess what time it is! That's right, time to listen to Kanye West, because his new album is simply amazing.  One of the best rap albums I've ever heard.  Hell, the album is so awesome it actually makes guest singer Adam Levine, a.k.a. lead singer of a Maroon "Shit" 5,  seem good.

Well, there is really only one reason I wanted to make this post... to share with you, the gracious viewer, the greatest piece of art I have ever drafted.  The quality is slightly lower than my original, but it still conveys the original message accurately.  And thusly,  I present to you a work I simply titled "Creature at a Birthday Party".

I have something for you all, but you can't see it until I get around to formatting it for this damn Xanga.  My MSWord document doesnt transfer over correctly, so I have to take the time to fix it.  And that could take a long time.  I should have it by the end of the summer, but by then most of it will probably be outdated.  Oh well, I'll either remove or rewrite stuff.

Life's good.  NASA is actually pretty fun, even if it's too much time.  Soccer started, and its rough as hell.  There is an annoying high-pitched ring in my right ear from some power converter for something of my brother's, but I dunno what it's for.  It's really annoying, but you can't hear it if you get any further away than my chair is right now.  Sounds like I'm getting screwed, eh?  Anyway, I go to Washington D.C. in a week to present my project poster at George Washington University.  That will be cool, and once I get back I'm done with my internship, then summer can really start!

OH! I got a cell phone last weekend! WOOHOO!  If you want my number, IM me.

Yo. It's been a while.  And thats the way I like it.  But here you go, for your viewing pleasure, I shall tell you what has happened since my last post:

I got a new computer, and played Half Life 2 through.  Although there are many things I could say about it, I could not do it justice.  I love it more than almost any game before it.

Well, I guess that is all that really matters now, isnt it? Considering I have spent many a post whining about how much I wanted that game.  I'm such a nerd.  Yummy.
